From my research as well as personal experience I’ve found that mixing your types of stretches allows you to get the best results both in your flexibility and performance in training and racing.
This article is an introduction to the importance of stretching before and after training, racing or almost any exercise you’re going to be doing. It basically breaks down to the following; stretching is extremely beneficial for you on many levels.
After completely uprooting and relocating to a new country I have made certain decisions and set certain goals to get back into triathlon and really push hard in my passion. I started a new job and have a new schedule to work with so there are lots of variables for me to start again.
Do everything sooner rather than later – hydrate, rest, eat, train, register, bike maintenance, rest, put petrol in the car, read the map, book flights, rest . . .

The winter is so important for a great summer performance. If you start training hard in March its too late. Winter is not just about getting in the easy long miles, it’s a preparation phase, its about developing your thresholds and your ability to race fast with little effort!
