Conrad, Excellent interview with out any BS. It's a great reminder for me, an avergage Joe, to just remember it's a sport and its about having fun. I get caught up in training hard and getting very nervous, only to be reminded by one of the best in the world too chill and realize we are not solving world hunger....
I've really enjoyed checking your blog and it's great to have a world class athlete that has so much class to go with it. Good Luck on your racing career! Even though you are not a BIG fan of Snowbasin, It's always a pleasure to see you grind it out when your here!

Howzit Bradley. Normally even 2nd would have been a disappointment, but the 2nd half of the season was really rough on me. I cut my foot badly in the shallow water before the swim start of XTERRA Richmond, but raced on it (and won), but the foot got infected and I had to get $45 000's worth surgery, 3 days in hospital and a slow road back to recovery. When I started training again toward USA Champs and Worlds, I started getting all kind of running injuries and very little time.

So in hindsight, just the fact that I could race the 2nd half of the season is good. Most athletes wouldnt have. Read about it here: http://www.conradstoltz.com/when-giving-everyth...
http://www.conradstoltz.com/2nd-surgery-thursda...
