Triharder News August 2009
I have taken quite a long break from writing and have gathered new momentum on Triharder. There are MANY exciting articles to come that I have been approached to write in addition to my own ideas. Thank you for all your support and encouragement for my site. I’m just getting started and wanted to give you a quick preview of what is still to come:
1. New Resources Section: I have been searching for the best Triathlon resources out there and will be launching a brand new Triharder resources section. There you will be able to find any and all links you could possibly need for the best sources for information, shopping, racing and anything else related to Triathlon and Multi-sport.
2. Chicago Triathlon inside Tips: With the Chicago Triathlon coming up very soon and as usual over 10,000 participants I thought it might be good to give you an idea what to expect at the biggest Triathlon in the world. Expect inside tips and tricks on how to have a great race.
3. Transition tips: One of the more neglected parts of training for a triathlon or at least preparing is knowing how to have a quick and efficient transition. I will share some tips on how to get in and out of T1 and T2 as fast as the pros do.
4. K-Swiss Shoe Review: K-Swiss approached me to give you a review of their latest K-Ona shoe. I’ll show you why this is an excellent triathlon shoe.
5. My Top 10 Mistakes Starting Out: Everyone should learn from his or her mistakes and I’ve written my first few big ones down so you that can learn from them as well. This article will be very much interactive and I hope to hear some of YOUR mistakes as well!
6. Tips from a Pro: Conrad Stoltz; Being a South African myself I thought it would only be fitting to talk to Conrad Stoltz about his Career as a Pro Triathlete and what tips he can give us.
7. Athletes for a Cure: I was approached by Scott Zagarino, the head of Athletes for a Cure to write a little something for you to bring to mind how so many athletes are supporting this program part of the Prostate Cancer Foundation and how you can too.
8. Question of the Month Section: My beautiful Fiancee came up with this one so I’ll give her the credit! This is going to be a section where you can ask your questions about Triathlon and have them answered on Triharder. Each month I will choose an interesting question posed either through email or the discussion boards I participate on and I will research and write an article to answer that question. Others may then comment as well so your question gets comprehensively answered.
Thank you all again for your support! I have been getting traffic from more than FORTY different countries so I hope you keep reading!

Can’t wait for #’s 6 and 8. Craig’s insight was great, interested to see what Stoltz recommends. When will the questions section be up?
The questions section will be up soon hopefully
I’ve been concentrating on expanding the resources section as well as writing as much as possible. Lots of great stuff coming up!
What do YOU think??
